Evolución del indice de pobreza en la ciudad de Guayaquil, en función del consumo y del ingreso, período 2012-2016

Resumen
El objetivo principal de este trabajo es analizar la evolución que ha tenido la pobreza en la ciudad de Guayaquil medidos desde el punto de vista ingreso y consumo en el periodo 2012- 2016, detallando en primera instancia conceptos básicos de las causas y efectos de la pobreza. También se mencionará los métodos de medición de la pobreza en las que se nombran: método de necesidades básicas, método de la línea de pobreza y por último método de medición integrada. Pero referente al tema se centrará en el método de la línea de pobreza porque aquí donde se puede medir la pobreza por consumo e ingreso. Por consiguiente, se analizará la evolución de la pobreza para Ecuador y para la ciudad de Guayaquil, dicho análisis se demostrará la evolución de los índices con lo que se podrá verificar si las políticas aplicadas dieron resultados positivos para la reducción de la pobreza en la ciudad. También se analizará la distribución de la riqueza por medio del Coeficiente de Gini. La metodología que se usara en este trabajo para analizar la evolución son datos proporcionados por el Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas y Censos (INEC) y Sistema De Indicadores Sociales Del Ecuador (SIISE).
The main objective of this paper is to analyze the evolution of poverty in the city of Guayaquil measured from the point of view income and consumption in the period 2012-2016, detailing in the first instance basic concepts of the causes and effects of poverty. Mention will also be made of the poverty measurement methods in which they are named: the basic needs method, the poverty line method and, finally, the integrated measurement method. But on the subject it will focus on the poverty line method because here where poverty can be measured by consumption and income. Therefore, the evolution of poverty for Ecuador and for the city of Guayaquil will be analyzed. This analysis will demonstrate the evolution of the indexes, which will allow verifying whether the policies applied gave positive results for the reduction of poverty in the city. The distribution of wealth through the Gini Coefficient will also be analyzed. The methodology that will be used in this work to analyze the evolution are data provided by the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INEC) and System of Social Indicators of Ecuador (SIISE).
