Resumen
El presente trabajo se centra en el estudio de las diferentes formas de abordar a un adulto mayor que padece de depresión y que fueron abandonados, Vivian en indigencia o que padecen de enfermedades mentales y físicas, ya sabemos que a veces los profesiones en su afán de completar horas y metas no prestan atención al estado anímico del paciente por lo que su forma de abordarlos suele ser tosca y sin tacto lo que impide tener un diagnóstico preciso, porque el usuario podría dar información parcial o negativa, las nuevas formas en que se aplicó el test de Yesavage durante los talleres demostraron que el vínculo que se genera durante el proceso de intervenciones psicológicas ayuda a mejorar el proceso diagnóstico, de esta manera la aplicación del test se facilita y el adulto mayor no se siente invadido ni ofendido, también el ser iletrado o la falta de conocimientos en ciertas cosas perjudica la aplicación del test, para estos casos es necesario adaptar las preguntas de tal manera que los adultos mayores puedas interpretarlas de formas correctas, se destaca el trabajo de intervención realizado con los adultos mayores en terapias que fueran individuales y grupales en los adultos mayores, como objetivo reforzar las habilidades sociales y facilitar la inclusión al trabajo grupal, durante la fase de talleres se realizaron actividades muy interesantes y necesarias para el desarrollo de la inteligencia emocional y sobretodo el autoestima, dando resultados positivos para beneficios de ellos mismo mejorando así su estilo de vida
The present work focuses on the study of the different ways of approaching an elderly person who suffers from depression and who were abandoned, living in poverty or suffering from mental and physical illnesses, we already know that sometimes the professions in their desire to complete hours and goals do not pay attention to the mood of the patient so their approach is usually rough and tactless which prevents an accurate diagnosis, because the user could give partial or negative information, the new ways in which it was applied The Yesavage test during the workshops showed that the bond that is generated during the process of psychological interventions helps to improve the diagnostic process, in this way the application of the test is facilitated and the older adult does not feel invaded or offended, also being illiterate or lack of knowledge in certain things harms the application of the test, for these cases it is necessary to adapt the questions of In the way that older adults can interpret them in a correct way, the intervention work carried out with older adults in individual and group therapies for the elderly is highlighted, as a goal to reinforce social skills and facilitate inclusion in group work, during During the workshop phase, very interesting and necessary activities were carried out for the development of emotional intelligence and above all self-esteem, giving positive results for their own benefits, thus improving their lifestyle
