Resumen
El presente trabajo de investigación se realizó con el objetivo de evaluar el uso
de Fluopyram (Verango) en el control de Radopholus similis en el cultivo de
banano, para la cual fueron evaluadas las poblaciones iniciales de infestación de
R. similis en raíces de banano antes de la aplicación del producto en mención,
se determinó también las densidades poblacionales de R. similis a los 45 y 90
días después de la aplicación del producto (Verango).
Para tal efecto las muestras de raíces de banano fueron colectadas y enviadas
al laboratorio de Nematología de la Estación Experimental Litoral Sur “Dr.
Enrique Ampuero Pareja” INIAP. Se empleó el método de Taylor y Loegering
modificado por INIAP 1977. Se empleó 9 tratamientos con 3 repeticiones
mediante el uso de dos dosis (D1 120 ml y D2 240 ml), para ello se usó un diseño
experimental completamente al azar con arreglo grupal para los tiempos de
evaluación. Y de acuerdo con los resultados obtenidos, en el número de raíces
vivas se evidenció que en el grupo 2 y 3 (evaluación a los 45 y 90 días) con la
dosis 240 ml de producto se obtuvo los mayores promedios, y con respecto a la
población del nematodo Radopholus similis se observó que el producto está
reduciendo las densidades hasta los 90 días con la dosis 240 ml de producto
utilizado.
The present research work was carried out with the objective of evaluating the use of Fluopyram (Verango) in the control of Radopholus similis in the banana crop, for which the initial populations of R. similis infestation in banana roots were evaluated. of the application of the product in question, the population densities of R. similis were also determined at 45 and 90 days after the application of the product (Verango). And according to the results obtained, in the number of live roots it was evidenced that in group 2 and 3 (evaluation at 45 and 90 days) with the 240 ml dose of product the highest averages were obtained, and with respect to the population of the nematode Radopholus similis it was observed that the product is reducing the densities until 90 days with the dose 120 ml of product used
