Resumen
El presente estudio se llevó a cabo en la fundación “Nuevo Rumbo de Trabajadores Artesanales Comunitarios” (NURTAC) acerca de la Funcionalidad familiar y capacidad funcional del adulto mayor, para lo cual fueron escogidos un total de 35 adultos mayores pertenecientes al Proyecto de “Diseño de una estrategia de intervención familiar para la prevención del maltrato al adulto mayor en la fundación Nurtac”. La metodología empleada fue de corte cuantitativo, diseño no experimental transeccional y alcance descriptivo – correlacional - Causal. El objetivo fue determinar la incidencia de la capacidad funcional en el funcionamiento familiar mediante el empleo de instrumentos como el índice de Katz (1963), y la prueba de percepción del Funcionamiento Familiar (FF-SIL) (1994), El análisis de los datos se efectúo con el procesador estadístico, Statical Product Servi Solution (SPSS) versión 23. El funcionamiento familiar de la mayoría de adultos mayores fue funcional 60% y el principal tipo de capacidad funcional fue el de independencia 74,3%. Se concluyó que existe un índice de relación entre el grado de capacidad funcional y el tipo de funcionamiento familiar
The present study was carried out in the foundation "Nuevo Rumbo de Trabajadores Artesanales Comunitarios" (NURTAC) about the family Functionality and functional capacity of the elderly, for which a total of 35 senior citizens belonging to the "Design a family intervention strategy for the prevention of elder abuse at the Nurtac foundation" project. The methodology used was quantitative, non - experimental transectional design and descriptive - correlational - Causal scope. The objective was to determine the incidence of functional capacity in family functioning through the use of instruments such as the Katz index (1963), and the family functioning perception test (FF-SIL) (1994), the analysis of the data was done with the statistical processor, Statical Product Servi Solution (SPSS) version 23. The familiar functioning of the majority of older adults was functional 60% and the main type of functional capacity was independence 74.3%. It was concluded that there is an index of relationship between the degree of functional capacity and the type of family functioning
