The main objective of this research was to characterize the self-concept of school-age children with aggression problems diagnosed by the DECE at the "Alberto Perdomo Franco" School. For this purpose, the research was carried out methodologically under a qualitative approach, with the case study method; sixteen (16) children enrolled in the institution who presented some aggressiveness indicators with ages between 9 and 12 years were selected as study subjects, to whom a series of psychological instruments were applied: the composition and drawing of the human figure, interviews to representatives and teachers. The main results indicate that the self-concept of these children has not been configured in a consolidated way at the level of representational systems, which seems to be related to the weight of the affectations in the social and emotional dimensions, and its strong relationship with the problems of aggressiveness , as well as with non-favoring activity and communication systems, which place the emphasis on the negative, always with an external perspective
