Resumen
El siguiente trabajo de sistematización de experiencias que tiene como título “Los estilos de afrontamiento ante la presencia de agentes estresores en personas con estatus socioeconómico bajo que demandan atención hospitalaria” La comunidad con la que se logró trabajar durante la investigación se encuentra ubicada en la parroquia Pascuales. Durante el primer acercamiento con la población se consiguió identificar como primer punto; un estatus socioeconómico o económico bajo que en la mayoría de las personas abordadas es un factor predominante. Y uno de los motivos por el que se presenta este tipo de nivel económico, se debe en su gran mayoría al ingreso por parte de un solo miembro o representante de cada familia. Además, mediante el uso de entrevista semiestructurada se pudo obtener información de las familias con lo que se pudo identificar la presencia de diversos tipos de estrés. Y el motivo del estrés o de las situaciones estresantes en las personas estudiadas, se debe en un alto índice a la falta de recursos económicos que tiene la comunidad para poder solventar los gastos de medicina que necesitan para poder cubrir las enfermedades que lo están afectando. Durante la aplicación de diversos instrumentos aplicados a la comunidad participante, cada uno de ellos comentó diversas situaciones de estrés que en algún momento atravesaron y de acuerdo con la respuesta de cada habitante, hubo situaciones de estrés positivo o eustrés y situaciones de estrés negativo o distrés que de alguna manera el habitante de la comunidad la percibió como amenazante
