Resumen
La sistematización de experiencias se realiza en base a las actividades ejecutadas en la Unidad Educativa “Tía Bachita” sobre la influencia del proceso de sensibilización sobre género. En la revisión literaria se desarrollaron los temas sobre género, conceptos, tipologías, creencias y estereotipos, además se identificó información sobre violencia de Género contra las mujeres en el Ecuador. Este trabajo recopila la experiencia vivida en la comunidad, del sector Guasmo Sur Zona 8, donde se utilizaron varias técnicas como la entrevista, grupo focal, materiales audiovisuales y recursos pedagógicos que nos ayudó a reconocer las ideas y pensamientos, los roles de género y estereotipos con las educadoras. Se da respuesta al eje planteado: los obstáculos que impiden el total empoderamiento del tema sobre género en el proceso de sensibilización son los estereotipos sociales, creados y definidos socioculturalmente, atribuyendo hábitos y comportamientos en mujeres y hombres en los diferentes contextos. Es decir se pone en manifiesto la naturalización de los comportamientos desajustados de violencia de género. Este trabajo propone dar una mirada reflexiva a la educación social sobre género, orientada a sensibilizar a las educadoras en particular y concientizar a las comunidades en general y empoderarlos con información. La reflexión crítica permitió, indagar en los conceptos teóricos actuales sobre género, y me permitió correlacionar tanto la realidad de las educadoras como la mía
The systematization of experiences is based on the activities carried out in the “Tía Bachita” Educational Unit on the influence of the gender awareness process. In the literary review, themes on gender, concepts, typologies, beliefs and stereotypes were developed, and information on gender violence against women in Ecuador was identified. This work collects the experience lived in the community, from the Guasmo Sur Zona 8 sector, where several techniques were used such as interview, focus group, audiovisual materials and pedagogical resources that helped us to recognize ideas and thoughts, gender roles and stereotypes with the educators. The proposed axis is answered: the obstacles that impede the total empowerment of the gender issue in the awareness process are social stereotypes, created and defined socioculturally, attributing habits and behaviors in women and men in different contexts. That means, the naturalization of the mismatched behaviors of gender violence becomes evident. This work proposes a reflexive look at social education about gender, aimed at sensitizing educators and raising awareness among communities in general and empowering them with information. The critical reflection allowed me to investigate the current theoretical concepts about gender, and it allowed me to correlate both the reality of educators and mine
