Sjögren's Syndrome is an autoimmune disorder in which the glands that produce tears and saliva are destroyed, causing dry mouth and eyes. Xerostomia is presented as the main symptom in the disease, and the consequent hyposalivation referred by these patients, perhaps having an impact on the increase of bacterial plaque and damage of the periodontal tissues. The objective of this work is to evaluate the level of bacterial plaque, salivary flow and periodontal conditions before and after the treatment chosen in a patient diagnosed with primary Sjögren's Syndrome. The methodology used is analytic-synthetic because it details the steps that were followed throughout the treatment. The results were favorable for the patient, improving the sensation of oral well-being.
