Resumen
Dentro del Hospital General Guasmo Sur que es la institución hospitalaria donde se ha realizado la investigación se ha identificado que el profesional de enfermería brinda cuidados integrales a los usuarios, se interrelaciona con los demás miembros del personal de salud y con los familiares que tienen la necesidad de conocer el estado de salud de su paciente, todo esto incluyendo la falta de personal para atender a los pacientes, la presión por la falta de tiempo ya que quizá no se lograría alcanzar a realizar las tareas propuestas, el cansancio físico y emocional; en algunas ocasiones hace que el profesional no brinde esos cuidados con la ética profesional que se debería, por lo tanto; el objetivo de esta investigación es describir los componentes del código deontológico del profesional de enfermería y las implicaciones bioéticas del cuidado en emergencia, hospital general Guasmo sur. El método de estudio se basó con un enfoque cualitativo, de tipo fenomenológico, aplicado a 5 profesionales de enfermería del área de emergencia, usando como instrumento entrevista semi estructurada de preguntas abiertas. A partir de los resultados se obtuvo que, el profesional de enfermería si brinda los cuidados con ética, es responsable pero a pesar de que con el paciente tiene un buen trarto, se observa y evidencia que no mantiene un ambiente de compañerismo existe la rivalidad y el egoísmo con otros profesionales de la salud y esto genera conflictos al momento de realizar las actividades diarias de enfermería
Within the Guasmo Sur General Hospital, which is the hospital institution where the research has been carried out, it has been identified that the nursing professional provides comprehensive care to the users, is interrelated with the other members of the health staff and with the relatives who have the need to know the state of health of his patient, all this including the lack of personnel to attend to patients, the pressure due to the lack of time since it might not be possible to reach the proposed tasks, physical and emotional fatigue; in some cases, the professional does not provide such care with the professional ethics that should be, therefore; The objective of this research is to describe the components of the deontological code of the nursing professional and the bioethical implications of emergency care, general hospital Guasmo sur. The study method was based on a qualitative approach, of a phenomenological nature, applied to 5 nursing professionals in the emergency area, using as a semi-structured interview instrument for open questions. From the results it was obtained that, if the nursing professional provides the care with ethics, it is responsible but in spite of the fact that the patient has a good treatment, it is observed and evidenced that it does not maintain an atmosphere of companionship, there is rivalry and selfishness with other health professionals and this generates conflicts when performing daily nursing activities
