Resumen
En un entorno de alta competencia, cada vez es más frecuente que las empresas apuesten por
la gestión externa de determinados servicios, el llamado outsourcing, como canal para reducir
costes y poder dedicar más tiempo a otras funciones estratégicas en el camino hacia la
excelencia. Una de las áreas más proclives a la externalización de tareas es el departamento
de Recursos Humanos, debido a la gran evolución registrada por este sector, que ha pasado
de ser el mero tramitador de nóminas y contratos a desempeñar un papel fundamental en la
estrategia y organización empresarial, la mejora competencial de los equipos, el impulso de la
motivación laboral y el fomento del talento. Por esta razón, analizaremos por qué apostar por
contratar empresas externas de recursos humanos puede ser una buena opción. El polígrafo es
una técnica de selección de personal que cada vez se utiliza más a la hora de seleccionar
personal con el fin de conocer si los candidatos están diciendo la verdad en los aspectos que
se estudian en la entrevista. El polígrafo consiste en un instrumento que ofrece una gran
precisión y sensibilidad, de manera que es muy difícil mentirse, y que además es capaz de
registrar las variables fisiológicas en un gráfico cuando se están realizando las preguntas. Su
nombre más conocido es el detector de mentiras, y si bien se utilizaba tradicionalmente en
otros ámbitos, cada vez se ha expandido más en la selección del personal.
In an environment of high competition, it is increasingly common for companies to bet on the external management of certain services, the so-called outsourcing, as a channel to reduce costs and be able to devote more time to other strategic functions on the path to excellence. One of the areas most prone to the outsourcing of tasks is the Human Resources department, due to the great evolution registered by this sector, which has gone from being the mere payroll and contract broker to playing a fundamental role in the strategy and organization business, the improvement of skills of the teams, the promotion of work motivation and the promotion of talent. For this reason, we will analyze why betting on hiring external human resources companies can be a good option. The polygraph is a technique of personnel selection that is increasingly used when selecting personnel in order to know if the candidates are telling the truth in the aspects that are studied in the interview. The polygraph consists of an instrument that offers great precision and sensitivity, so that it is very difficult to lie, and that it is also able to record the physiological variables in a graph when the questions are being asked. Its best-known name is the lie detector, and although it was traditionally used in other areas, it has increasingly expanded in the selection of personnel.
