Resumen
Las redes centralizadas de gas licuado de petróleo (GLP) son una alternativa viable
para los nuevo complejos habitacionales, en las cuales por medio de un tanque de
almacenamiento central, se distribuye el combustible mediante un sistema de tuberías
hasta cada consumidor, proveyendo un servicio ininterrumpido. En este modelo, el
inventario se encuentra a consignación, es decir, pertenece a la empresa
comercializadora como parte de sus activos.
El GLP es altamente inflamable, por lo que es necesario asegurar la correcta
operación de las instalaciones, evitando la existencia de fugas.
En este trabajo se analiza el sistema actual de control de inventarios para
determinar sus alcances y limitaciones y establecer mejoras en los procesos que lo
constituyen.
En atención a la problemática expuesta, se aplicarán los métodos cualitativo y
cuantitativo para establecer los parámetros que definen el comportamiento de
inventarios en redes centralizadas; estos parámetros serán base para estimar la
existencia de problemas en una red centralizada de GLP.
A partir de los puntos de mejora encontrados, se buscarán alternativas para
robustecer al sistema de control de inventarios para reducir los riesgos en instalaciones
de terceros mediante la notificación rápida y oportuna de desfases de inventarios.
Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) centralized networks are a viable alternative for new housing complexes, in which through a tank of central storage, the fuel is distributed through a system of pipes to each consumer, providing uninterrupted service. In this model, the inventory is on consignment, therefore, it belongs to the trading company as part of its assets. LPG is highly flammable, so it is necessary to ensure the correct operation of the facilities, avoiding leaks. In this paper the current inventory control system is analyzed to determine its scope and limitations and establish improvements in processes that constitute it. In response to the problems exposed, qualitative and quantitative methods are used to set the parameters that define the behavior of inventories in centralized networks; these parameters will be the basis for estimating the existence of problems in a centralized network of LPG. About the points of improvement found, they will be used to seek alternatives to strengthen the inventory control system to reduce risks in third party facilities through rapid and timely reporting of inventory discrepancies.
