Resumen
La constante competencia en el mercado del acero a llevado a la empresa a
incrementar la producción en base a implementación de diferentes proyectos de
Modernización que se han ejecutados en la planta Laminadora de la empresa Andec los
mismos que han incrementado considerablemente la producción y la productividad, con
la ejecución de estos también se incremento el consumo de repuestos generando además
un incremento de las clases de repuestos, saturando el tiempo disponible de la maquina
fresadora, provocando con ello que se tenga que importar o enviar a construir a talleres
externos los repuestos que se necesita para poder laminar aumentando el costo de
construcción de estos, el presente proyecto se desarrolla mediante la modalidad de
campo, ya que la gran mayoría de datos requeridos son tomados en forma personal, en
el lugar y área geográfica donde ocurren los problemas, que son analizados
técnicamente mediante herramienta de diagrama “Causa Efecto o Ishikawa”.
Bibliográfico también, porque se consultan revistas, libros, y documentos técnicos.
Empleo de herramientas estadísticas, que logran mostrar soluciones objetivas a los
problemas tratados. Desde el punto de vista científico permite que se apliquen
soluciones Técnicas, porque se muestra la manera secuencial la aplicación de una
solución a un problema, logrando una mayor y mejor eficiencia productiva. La alternativa de solución escogida como la más factible, es la adquisición de un Centro de
Mecanizado marca Raikes , para lo cual hay que hacer una inversión de 138.664
dólares, que se recupera en el tercer año. Los índices económicos calculados son muy
favorables para el actual proyecto, teniendo como resultado una tasa interna de retorno
del 46,10% anual, la relación costo/beneficio es de 2,47 dólares, estas cifras que
demuestran ciertamente que este proyecto es totalmente viable. Con la adquisición del
Centro de Mecanizado. Se alcanzara a satisfacer las necesidades en el maquinado de
repuesto de formas y dimensiones especiales con lo cual ya no habría la necesidad de
importar repuestos o enviar a construir a talleres externos.
