Resumen
El tipo de investigación, se enfocó a las reacciones adversas con opioides en pacientes
oncológica del hospital SOLCA Portoviejo de tipo descriptivo observacional prospectico y
cuantitativo y se concluyó que predomino el género femenino con relación al masculino
donde los pacientes registraron una edad que osciló entre los 40 a 59 años, con un nivel de
escolaridad primaria y como ocupación doméstica, las cuales tiene cáncer de mama,
patología gástrica, recto y cérvix con un periodo de <1 años con esta enfermedad. En la
aplicación de opiáceos el más utilizado fue la morfina y se pudo establecer que entre los
efectos adversos que más ocasiona están las náuseas, vómitos y estreñimiento entre los
más relevantes la mayoría de los pacientes presentaron estos efectos al instante de la
aplicación del opiáceo lo que no influyo significativamente para que ellos abandonen el
tratamiento y lo retomen secuencialmente según su condición y predisposición. , se
evidenciando que es un evento de difícil pronóstico, tomando antieméticos para
contrarrestar los efectos adversos, laxantes, enjuagues bucales y remedios caseros
