Resumen
La Artritis Reumatoide es una enfermedad inflamatoria sistémica, degenerativa y crónica; caracterizada por la inflamación en la membrana sinovial de las articulaciones; más frecuentemente las pequeñas articulaciones de extremidades tanto superiores e inferiores (falanges de las manos, pies) ocasionando de manera progresiva la destrucción de estas, generando deformidad e impotencia funcional. Esta enfermedad afecta predominantemente en el sexo femenino.
El objetivo de este proyecto es determinar las Complicaciones más frecuentes de la Artritis Reumatoide en el Hospital Universitario de Guayaquil; solamente nos enfocaremos en pacientes del sexo femenino, resaltando su rango de edad y elaborar sus respectivas recomendaciones de acuerdo a los datos obtenidos posteriores al análisis de los casos.
Se tomaron 113 casos encontrados en el Hospital Universitario de Guayaquil en el periodo comprendido del mes de Enero del año 2013 hasta el mes de Enero del año 2014.
De todos los datos estadísticos obtenidos en el Hospital Universitario; se observa que esta patología sobresale entre las edades de 45 a 55 años de edad; siendo la edad predominante los 54 años de edad, con un promedio de 16 pacientes equivalente al 14.15%.
The Rheumatoid arthritis is a systemic chronic inflammatory and degenerative disease; characterized by inflammation in the synovium of joints; most commonly the small joints of both upper and lower extremities (phalanges of the hands, feet) it’s causing progressively the destruction of the joints, generating deformity and loss of function. The disease predominantly affects females. The objective of this Project is to determine the complications most common of the rheumatoid arthritis in the University Hospital of Guayaquil; we only focus on female patients, highlighting their age range and develop their recommendations according to data obtained after analysis of cases. A total of 113 cases were taken in the University Hospital of Guayaquil in the period of study between January 2013 to January 2014 Of all the statistical data obtained at the University Hospital; it shows that this pathology prevails by 100% between the ages of 45-55 years old; being the predominant age 54 years old, with an average of 16 patients equivalent to 14.15%.
