La pancreatitis en pacientes pediátricos atendidos en el Hospital General León Becerra Camacho, de Milagro, desde octubre del 2013 a octubre del 2014

Resumen
Este proyecto de investigación elaborado en el Hospital General “León Becerra Camacho” de la ciudad de Milagro, considerando a pacientes pediátricos atendidos cuyo tratamiento, manejo y análisis de la gravedad que presenten en el diagnóstico de Pancreatitis, puedan ser atendidos de la mejor manera y de forma oportuna evitando complicaciones posteriores. Debido al gran número de pacientes con dolor abdominal que acuden a este centro de salud, donde esperan encontrar las respuestas al mal que los aqueja y solucionar de forma eficiente sus problemas de salud, teniendo en cuenta el abanico de manifestaciones clínicas con los que pueden llegar al área de emergencia. Algunas veces los pacientes nos dan información inespecífica y sus familiares claman la atención médica, según su género y edad pueden enmascarar la enfermedad o dar falsa información por temor a ser examinados, pero es ahí donde la pericia del médico debe estar presente pensando en las posibilidades de poder dar un diagnóstico oportuno.
El diagnóstico de esta enfermedad no es tan frecuente pero existe la presencia de casos que han sido tratados exitosamente dentro de sus instalaciones, también hubieron complicaciones que fueron trasladados a un centro hospitalario de tercer nivel, notando la necesidad de mejorar el espacio físico e incrementar el personal de atención para el mejor cuidado de pacientes pediátricos complicados, mantenerlos estables y en excelentes condiciones, ayudando a mejorar la capacidad resolutiva de este centro de salud y sea una ayuda satélite para los hospitales de sus alrededores.

This research project developed at the General Hospital "León Becerra Camacho" on Milagro, considering a treated pediatric patients whose treatment, management and analysis of gravity that occur in the pancreatitis’s diagnosis, it can be cared for in the best method and timely avoid further complications. Due to the large number of patients with abdominal pain who come to this health center, where they hope to find answers to the evil that afflicts and solve efficiently their health problems, considering the range of clinical manifestations with which they can reach the emergency area. Sometimes the patients give us nonspecific information and their families claim medical care, according to their gender and age may mask the disease or giving false information for fear of being examined, but that's where the skill of the doctor should be present thinking about the possibilities able to give an early diagnosis. The diagnosis of this disease is not as common, but there is the presence of cases that have been successfully treated in its facilities, also it had complications were transferred to a hospital in third level, noting the need to improve the physical space and increase the attention staff to take better care of complicated pediatric patients, keep them stable and in excellent condition, helping to improve the response capacity of the health center and be a satellite help hospitals around.
