Resumen
El presente trabajo de investigación permite conocer la influencia que tiene la lectura
comprensiva en el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico en los estudiantes de básica media de
la Escuela Fiscal Dr.” Leopoldo Izquieta Pérez”. Durante la investigación se observó que
muchos docentes no aplican estrategias de enseñanza activa, lo que implica que no hay
aprendizajes significativos, ni se favorece la comprensión lectora. Se emplearon métodos
de carácter teóricos tales como: inductivo – deductivo, además se utilizó técnicas e
instrumentos de evaluación mediante la entrevista realizada al directivo , encuestas a
docentes y ficha de observación a estudiantes. Se cree que la aplicación de adecuadas
estrategias didácticas permitirá a los docentes de esta institución, promover que los
alumnos lean y comprendan los textos y con ello se generará un mejor rendimiento
académico en las diversas áreas curriculares.
Finalmente, este estudio pretende analizar el problema, detectando las causales y
consecuencias a fin de que los resultados sirvan a los docentes de la institución referida en
el tratamiento del problema y posean un marco teórico y metodológico para futuros
estudios.
This research work allows us to know the influence of comprehensive Reading in the development of critical thinking in middle school students of the Dr. Leopoldo Izquieta Pérez Fiscal School. During the investigation it was observed that many teachers do not apply active teaching strategies, which implies that there is no significant learning, nor is reading comprehension favored. Theoretical methods were used such as inductive – deductive, and evaluation techniques, and instruments were also used through the interview with the director, teacher surveys, and student observation form. It is believed that the application of appropriate didactic strategies will allow teachers of this institution to promote students to read and understand the texts and with this, better academic performance will be generated in the various curricular areas. Finally, this study aims to analyze the problem, detecting the causes and consequences so that the results serve the teacher of the institution referred to in the treatment of the problem, and have theoretical and methodological framework for future studies.
