Resumen
Los trastornos tiroides engloban muchas enfermedades que se caracterizan
por una alteración a nivel hormonal, que interfieren en la vida cotidiana como
el Hipertiroidismo y el Hipotiroidismo. EL Hipotiroidismo es una patología
crónica donde existe una deficiencia de las hormonas tiroideas. Objetivo:
Determinar la Prevalencia de Hipotiroidismo en pacientes atendidos en
fundasen por consulta externa Alborada de la ciudad de Guayaquil mediante
la Técnica Inmunoenzimático en el periodo 2018 a 2019. Materiales y
Métodos: Se realiza una investigación en FUNDASEN Fundación de
Asistencia Social Enlace de la Alborada en la ciudad de Guayaquil con 713
pacientes. Recolección de datos: Se obtuvieron todos los datos de los 713
pacientes que se realizaron pruebas tiroideas por método de ELISA en un
periodo de un año. Resultados: La prevalencia de Hipotiroidismo fue del 48%,
el sexo femenino fue el más frecuente y la edad de presentación más
frecuente fue entre 19 y 65 años de edad.
Thyroid disorders encompass many diseases that are characterized by an alteration at the hormonal level, which interferes with everyday life we have hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism. Hypothyroidism is a chronic pathology where there is a deficiency of thyroid hormones. Objective: To determine the Prevalence of Hypothyroidism in patients treated in a hospital in Labored from the city of Guayaquil by means of the Immunoenzymatic Technique in the period 2018 to 201. Materials and Methods: An investigation is carried out in the Clinical Laboratory of FUNDASEN based on 713 patients. Data collection: All data were obtained from the 713 patients who underwent thyroid tests by ELISA method over a period of one year. Results: The prevalence of hypothyroidism was 48%, the female sex was the most frequent and the most frequent presentation age was between 19 and 65 years of age.
