Resumen
Las relaciones comerciales de un país con el resto del mundo son tan importantes para el desarrollo de sí mismo y el crecimiento de su economía como también es significativo las relaciones comerciales bilaterales, a fin de formar acuerdos que permitan establecer compromisos entre ambas parte y se incentive tanto la producción como el desarrollo de nuevas tecnologías involucras en este proceso, sin embargo un país sin la posibilidad de aplicar políticas cambiarias es vulnerable ante la volatilidad de una moneda que no es propia. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo general, determinar el grado de influencia que ha tenido el tipo de cambio real, en la evolución del comercio exterior bilateral del Ecuador con Colombia en el período 2014 -2018, para ello se analizan las variables involucradas con el tema. La metodología de este trabajo se basó en estudios realizados por la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL) además de la revisión de fuentes secundarias que aportaron con información sobre el comportamiento de variables vinculadas al comercio ecuatoriano con Colombia. Como resultado se ha evidenciado que la fluctuación cambiaria afecta directa y negativamente en mayor medida a aquellos países que no tienen la posibilidad de adoptar políticas monetarias y manipular el tipo de cambio a favor de su economía.
The commercial relations of a country with the rest of the world are as important for the development of itself and the growth of its economy as it is also significant bilateral trade relations, in order to form agreements that allow establishing commitments between both parties and encourages Both the production and the development of new technologies involve in this process, however a country without the possibility of applying exchange rate policies is vulnerable to the volatility of a currency that is not its own. This research has as a general objective, to determine the degree of influence that the real exchange rate has had, in the evolution of the bilateral foreign trade of Ecuador with Colombia in the period 2014-2018, for this the variables involved with the subject are analyzed . The methodology of this work was based on studies conducted by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (CEPAL) in addition to the review of secondary sources that provided information on the behavior of variables linked to Ecuadorian trade with Colombia. As a result, it has been shown that the exchange rate fluctuation directly and negatively affects those countries that do not have the possibility of adopting monetary policies and manipulating the exchange rate in favor of their economy.
