Resumen
Este trabajo se realiza acerca de la Facultad de Ingeniería Industrial de la Universidad de
Guayaquil, se indaga en cada uno de los conceptos y tecnologías que comprende un Smart
Campus con el objetivo de realizar un esquema de valoración de Smart Campus en cada
uno de sus ejes y sub-ejes dando como resultado la evaluación del estado de la Facultad de
Ingeniería Industrial. Como parte de los elementos a valorar se tomó en cuenta los trabajos
realizados de parte de los docentes con proyectos de innovación parte de un Smart
Campus, así como los proyectos presentados en la Carpa Virtual Itinerante realizada en
diciembre del 2020. Llegando a la conclusión de que la facultad se encuentra en un valor
de 1.85 lo que muestra un campus estancado tecnológicamente, lo que llevo a revisar
hechos históricos de implementación de nuevas tecnologías en otras universidades a nivel
nacional como internacional, para recomendarlas como mejoras a implementarse en la
facultad y alcance un mejor valor en su evaluación de Smart Campus.
This work is carried out on the Faculty of Industrial Engineering of the University of Guayaquil, it investigates each of the concepts and technologies that comprise a Smart Campus with the aim of carrying out a Smart Campus valuation scheme in each of its axes and sub-axes resulting in the evaluation of the status of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering. As part of the elements to be evaluated, the work carried out by the teachers with innovation projects part of a Smart Campus was considered as well as the projects related to the virtual Itinerant Tent carried out in December 2020. Concluding that the faculty is at a value of 1.85 which shows a technologically stalled campus, which led to review historical facts of implementation of new technologies in other universities at national and international level, to recommend them as improvements to be implemented in the faculty and reach a best value on your Smart Campus assessment.
