In this project, the objective is to analyze the feasibility for the implementation of a balanced food production plant in Balzar canton, Guayas province. The absence of a plant near the canton raises the costs of the product by 13%, mainly in transportation, gasoline, and tolls. A mixed methodology was applied, with a descriptive study and a cross-section. The instruments for data collection were the survey applied to the distributors of balanced and veterinary food in the canton and an interview applied to the agronomists in charge of said distributors. In order to know the market, the needs of the potential customer and how easy the penetration of the new brand can be. The results show that, distributors require a new presentation, different from the traditional 20 and 40 kg bags such as 3kg, 5kg or 10kg bags. Customers demonstrate low fidelity to existing brands, inducing the acceptance of a new brand by distributors. They believe that the implementation of a plant will reduce the retail price. This would benefit the consumer because they would acquire a good quality product at an affordable price to their economy
