LA PRÁCTICA DE LA HORTICULTURA COMO PROCESO TERAPÉUTICO EN PACIENTES CON ESQUIZOFRENIA RESIDENTES DEL INSTITUTO DE NEUROCIENCIAS

Resumen
El presente trabajo de sistematización titulado “La práctica de la horticultura como proceso terapéutico en pacientes con esquizofrenia residentes del instituto de neurociencias”, surge a partir de la aplicación de la terapia hortícola como tratamiento alternativo en diferentes trastornos, obteniendo resultados positivos durante el proceso de intervención psicológica. La finalidad de este trabajo de sistematización fue describir el proceso terapéutico en pacientes esquizofrénicos residentes del instituto de neurociencias. El objeto de esta investigación: Aplicaciones de la horticultura en pacientes esquizofrénicos. Y como eje: ¿De qué manera se llevó a cabo el proceso terapéutico hortícola en pacientes esquizofrénicos? Se utilizó la metodología cualitativa descriptiva, con modalidad de sistematización de experiencias, donde se realizó entrevistas, informe de talleres, informes de bitácoras que fueron obtenidos durante este proceso. Desde la reflexión crítica se pudo constatar la evolución del paciente esquizofrénico residente al aplicar esta terapia, permitiendo la recuperación funcional de sus capacidades buscando la reinserción a la sociedad. Se concluye que la práctica de la horticultura como proceso terapéutico nos ha dado una perspectiva diferente al momento de afrontar la enfermedad de la esquizofrenia, dando resultados favorables en el tratamiento de los trastornos y mejorando la calidad de vida de los pacientes
The present systematization work entitled "The practice of horticulture as a therapeutic process in schizophrenic patients’ resident of the institute of neurosciences", arises from the application of horticultural therapy as an alternative treatment in different disorders, obtaining positive results during the intervention process psychological. The purpose of this systematization work was to describe the therapeutic process in schizophrenic patients residing at the institute of neurosciences. The object of this research: Applications of horticulture in schizophrenic patients. And as an axis: In what way was the horticultural therapeutic process carried out in schizophrenic patients? The qualitative descriptive methodology was used, with a method of systematizing experiences, where interviews, workshop report, and log reports were carried out that were obtained during this process. From the critical reflection it was possible to verify the evolution of the resident schizophrenic patient when applying this therapy, allowing the functional recovery of their capacities, seeking reintegration into society. It is concluded that the practice of horticulture as a therapeutic process has given us a different perspective when facing the disease of schizophrenia, giving favorable results in the treatment of disorders and improving the quality of life of patients
