Evaluación del sistema de alcantarillado sanitario del recinto San Antonio de la Abundancia – cantón Puerto Quito y propuesta de mejoras

Resumen
El problema en cuanto al sistema de alcantarillado del recinto San Antonio de la Abundancia oscila principalmente en el déficit de funcionamiento del mismo, debido a que ha cumplido su periodo de diseño y vida útil. Se desarrolla la presente investigación con el objetivo de evaluar las partes físicas e hidráulicas del sistema de alcantarillado sanitario existente.
El presente trabajo investigativo se desarrolla en base a la metodología descriptiva explicativa, la cual se encarga de recopilar información de campo para realizar un diagnóstico y posterior evaluación del sistema de alcantarillado existente; beneficiando de manera directa al GAD municipal del cantón Puerto Quito en cuanto a ahorro de consultoría. A su vez se beneficia la población del recinto una vez que se realice la propuesta presentada en este trabajo.
Realizado del diagnóstico y evaluación respectiva de todo el sistema de alcantarillado sanitario se determina que ha cumplido su periodo de diseño; es decir, cumplió con su vida útil, es por ello que su estructura en general presenta inconsistencia de funcionalidad. Esta investigación propone el diseño de un nuevo sistema de alcantarillado sanitario con tuberías de PVC con diámetros mínimos de 200mm en colectores secundarios y la instalación de dos tramos de colectores principales en los últimos tramos de la red. Se recomienda el diseño de una nueva PTAR con tratamientos primario, secundario y terciario.
The problem regarding the sewerage system of the San Antonio de la Abundancia site is mainly due to the fact that it has reached its design period and useful life. The present investigation is developed with the objective of evaluating the physical and hydraulic parts of the existing sanitary sewerage system. This research work is developed based on the descriptive explanatory methodology, which is responsible for collecting field information for a diagnosis and subsequent evaluation of the existing sewerage system; directly benefiting the municipal government of the canton of Puerto Quito in terms of consulting savings. At the same time, the population of the area will benefit once the proposal presented in this work is carried out. After the diagnosis and evaluation of the entire sanitary sewerage system, it is determined that it has completed its design period; that is, it has fulfilled its useful life, which is why its structure in general presents inconsistency of functionality. This investigation proposes the design of a new sanitary sewer system with PVC pipes with minimum diameters of 200 mm in secondary collectors and the installation of two sections of main collectors in the last sections of the network. The design of a new WWTP with primary, secondary and tertiary treatment is recommended.
