Resumen
Las empresas buscan desarrollar acciones y estrategias para mejorar su
rendimiento y responder a los cambios que se dan en el contexto mundial y
nacional. Por eso, los teóricos de la administración han determinado como uno de
los pilares a la cultura organizacional, el cual estructura el propósito de la
organización fijando un camino que los colaboradores deben seguir. Por esa razón,
el presente proyecto tiene por objetivo analizar la cultura organizacional y los
efectos en los docentes de la Universidad de Guayaquil, aplicando el modelo de
Denison, para determinar que se debe mejorar. Como primer aspecto el objetivo
teórico permitió conocer las dimensiones que Denison plantea para evaluar una
organización siendo estos la misión, adaptabilidad, aprendizaje, participación y
consistencia. El estudio metodológico descriptivo con enfoque cuantitativo sobre un
total de 1893 docentes a encuestar. Como resultado se identificó que la
organización presenta una estructura fuerte partiendo desde el propósito de la
misión, brindando el camino que los colaboradores deben seguir, pero dicha
estructura muestra una gran resistencia a cambios flexibles que se deban dar de
manera emergente, por esa razón es necesario que se desarrollen esfuerzos por
fortalecer y formar a la plantilla de docentes considerando el aprendizaje.

As a result, it was identified that the organization presents a strong structure starting from the purpose of the mission, providing the path that collaborators must follow, but said structure shows great resistance to flexible changes that must be given in an emergent manner, for that reason it is It is necessary to develop efforts to strengthen and train the teaching staff considering learning.
