fincas o parcelas.
At present the population is increasing dramatically, and with it the need to eat in a healthy and sustainable way, this makes people undertake projects for the benefit of the communities, for this reason this proposal is presented whose theme is related to the production of vegetables and medicinal plants with the application of agricultural associations under an agro-sustainable concept, whose objective is to develop horticultural production capacities in the inhabitants of rural areas with a focus on collective family participation with multiplying social impact. To achieve the objective, it was necessary to resort to theories and previous works that allow validating the information, this information is related to the study variables, the applied methodology had its positive effect, field research was applied, with theoretical and empirical methods, applying techniques such as observation, interview, questionnaire and survey, as a result it was found that families need to obtain knowledge about the techniques on the association between vegetables and medicinal plants. In addition, they want to grow good quality products, with technical advice to associate crops, it is also established that in the rural sector associativity in crops as a technique is unknown, it is novel for families and they want to be the pioneers through practice in their home gardens. It is relevant to implement an activity that generates positive changes for the benefit of the community, to continue cultivating and minimizing the impact on the environment, making the most of the physical spaces on the farms or plots.
