Resumen
El emprendimiento es una opción de desarrollo económico y social considerada por los
autores de esta investigación, el cultivo de la uva de la variedad Red Globe es vista como una
oportunidad de negocio, en esa dirección se realiza la siguiente investigación que tiene como
objetivo general “Comprobar la viabilidad económica-financiera del cultivo de 10 hectáreas de
uvas de la variedad Red Globe en la comuna El Azúcar de la provincia de Santa Elena” para
cumplir con esta meta se realizó la investigación bibliográfica para conocer a mayor
profundidad sobre las gestiones culturales del cultivo, cosecha y comercialización de la uva,
también de realizo la investigación empírica, mediante una investigación cuantitativa,
descriptiva y de campo, se realizó una encuesta a comerciantes mayoristas del mercado de
transferencia de Guayaquil y a comerciantes de uvas apostados en la vía a la costa, utilizando
como instrumento de investigación el cuestionario, en el que se hicieron preguntas sobre
producto, el precio de venta y la forma de comercialización de la uva Red Globe. Realizado el
estudio económico se determina su viabilidad técnica, financiera y económica, se obtuvo Valor
Actual Neto positivo (mayor a 1), la tasa interna de retorno supera las expectativas de
rentabilidad de los accionistas y se recupera la inversión al cuarto año de iniciado el proyecto.

Information on the product, the sale price and the marketing method of the Red Globe grape. Once the economic study has been carried out, its technical, financial and economic viability is determined, a positive Net Present Value was obtained (greater than 1), the internal rate of return exceeds the profitability expectations of the shareholders and the investment is recovered in the fourth year after the beginning of the draft.
