Negativa de atención en embarazo y violencia obstétrica causado en el hospital del IESS de la Ciudad de Machala

Resumen
Mediante este estudio de caso analizamos la violencia obstétrica y las vulneraciones de
derecho que se le causaron a la mujer embarazada en el hospital del IESS por el simple
hecho de no tener aportaciones suficientes o a su vez por faltas del pago patronal con
esto queremos concientizar a la ciudadanía y para que sepan cuáles son sus derechos y
que las mujeres embarazadas sepan que ellas y los recién nacidos son prioridades al
momento de una emergencia ya que es lo que está establecido en la Constitución y así
poder evitar que exista pudimos más vulneración de estos derechos , con esta
investigación pudimos determinar el incumplimiento y poco compromiso por parte del
Ministerio de Salud para dar cumplimiento con la emisión de la “Guía de Atención a las
Mujeres Embarazadas y de Prevención de la Violencia Obstétrica”, por ello el
planteamiento de la intervención ciudadana para ser parte de dicha creación es de
necesidad imperiosa.
Through this case study we analyze obstetric violence and the violations of rights caused to pregnant women in the IESS hospital for the simple fact of not having sufficient contributions or due to lack of employer's payment. With this we want to raise awareness among the citizens and to make them aware of their rights and that pregnant women know that they and their newborns are priorities at the time of an emergency, as it is what is established in the Constitution and thus we can prevent further violation of these rights, With this research we were able to determine the lack of compliance and commitment by the Ministry of Health to comply with the issuance of the "Guide for the Care of Pregnant Women and Prevention of Obstetric Violence", therefore the approach of citizen intervention to be part of this creation is of urgent necessity.
