Resumen
La investigación tuvo como objetivo evaluar dos extractos vegetales para el
control de cochinillas (Dysmiccocus texensis) y trips (Chaetanaphotrips signipennis) en el racimo de banano. Se procedió a la selección de plantas
con una edad de cero semanas del racimo y sin virosis. La mayoría de los
tratamientos mostraron un buen resultado en cuanto a ratio, el tratamiento T
5 alcanzó el mayor promedio con 1,52 cajas por racimo, en peso de racimos
también alcanzó el mayor valor 29,13 kg, así como en número de manos por
racimos con un promedio de 7,47 y número de dedos por racimos. Los
tratamientos mostraron un grado 1 de incidencia de cochinillas. En el daño
de mancha roja, no se observaron diferencias estadísticas significativas
entre los tratamientos, se concluye que usando Detente 100 EC y Avenger
MW, se puede mantener la incidencia baja de Dysmicoccus texensis y
Chaetanaphohtrips signipennis en el racimo de banano
