Resumen
En el departamento de logística de una empresa en la ciudad de Guayaquil se evidencia
una problemática relacionada con el aumento del 20% de los accidentes laborales durante
los últimos años; por tal motivo, se pretende disminuir el riesgo laboral de sus
trabajadores. Para el estudio de campo se utilizó el Método William Fine, el Método del
triple criterio o PVG y una evaluación de criticidad, que evidencian cinco riesgos
determinados como intolerables y dos como importantes, además de demostrar la
exposición a factores que causan daños en la columna por postura forzada, cortes por
vidrio, golpes con las jabas, daños auditivos, fatiga muscular y estrés; los mismos pueden
representar un costo total de $83.000,00 para la organización. Se diseñó un plan de
seguridad aplicado en el proceso de despacho del departamento de logística para mejorar
la seguridad industrial mediante la eliminación del 80% de los factores de riesgo.
