Resumen
El trabajo investigativo denominado " El delito del maltrato animal, tipicidad y reformas en la legislación ecuatorian, desarrolla un estudio crítico y doctrinario de las normas jurídicas que hacen referencia a la portección de la vida y la integridad de los animales, para argumentar la necesidad de ejecutar las reformas sobre los delitos estos y en medida para ampliar el alcance de la norma con relación a protección de derechos y bienes jurídicos. Para establecer esta necesidad, fue necesario realizar un contexto histórico y jurídico que consolide los principales campos de acción de la tentativa. En razón a lo descritose identifica que las reformas implementadas pretenden no solo disuadir sino ejercer medidas proporcionales al dño causado estableciendo como eje funcional de la viabilidad su distinción como sujeto de derecho.
