Resumen
El objeto fundamental de la presente monografía es evidenciar la
importancia de las estrategias alternativas propias y apropiadas que
se pueden aplicar en la cátedra de cirugía práctica, el estudio se
enfoca en la cátedra de cirugía práctica del Hospital Luis Vernaza de
Guayaquil. Está estructurada en forma lógica y organizada, primero
los fundamentos, conceptos, antecedentes de las estrategias
apropiadas y luego de las propias; se realiza una breve reseña
histórica sobre la cátedra de cirugía práctica, se establecen sus
conceptos, antecedentes y características; se determinan las
competencias quirúrgicas a desarrollar por medio de las estrategias
propias. La metodología que se empleó en el desarrollo de la
investigación es exploratoria, descriptiva y explicativa, enmarcada
en el paradigma documental con los subtipos: bibliográfico,
hemerográfico y net-gráfico. Con el aporte de estrategias propias
que se pueden aplicar en la educación médica se pretende
evidenciar la importancia del desarrollo de las mismas, para la
cátedra de cirugía práctica, como estrategia de aprendizaje
