Resumen
Introducción: El cuidado ancestral se remonta desde la creación del mundo, en donde los profesionales de enfermería desempeñan un rol importante para su cumplimiento. Objetivo: Describir la responsabilidad de enfermería en los cuidados ancestrales comunitarios en el Distrito 09D08. Métodos: Se realizó una investigación cualitativa con enfoque fenomenológico y descriptivo; los datos fueron recolectados a través de entrevistas semiestructuradas realizadas en el mes de marzo del 2022 a seis profesionales de enfermería del Distrito 09D08. Resultados: Este estudio muestra que los profesionales de enfermería desempeñan algunas prácticas enfocadas en interculturalidad y cuidados ancestrales comunitarios como la promoción del parto intercultural, la compañía del familiar, el cuidado del binomio madre-hijo, manejo del dolor mediante masajes, aromaterapia y psicoprofilaxis obstétrica; el personal de enfermería percibe a los cuidados ancestrales comunitarios, mediante el respeto a sus creencias, la relación entre culturas y la atención de calidad. Conclusión: El enfermero debe establecer una relación con la comunidad en que trabaja, conociendo sus saberes ancestrales e intensificando el cuidado holístico del paciente, la familia y la comunidad en todos los niveles de atención.
Introduction: Ancestral care dates back to the creation of the world, where nursing professionals play an important role in its fulfillment. Objective: To describe the responsibility of nursing in community ancestral care in District 09D08. Methods: A qualitative research with a phenomenological and descriptive approach was carried out; Data were collected through semi-structured interviews conducted in March 2022 with six nursing professionals from District 09D08. Results: This study shows that nursing professionals carry out some practices focused on interculturality and community ancestral care such as the promotion of intercultural childbirth, the company of the family member, the care of the mother-child binomial, pain management through massage, aromatherapy and obstetric psychoprophylaxis; the nursing staff perceives ancestral community care, through respect for their beliefs, the relationship between cultures and quality care. Conclusion: Nurses must establish a relationship with the community in which they work, knowing their ancestral knowledge and intensifying the holistic care of the patient, the family and the community at all levels of care.
