Resumen
El presente proyecto de investigación pretende saber los beneficios del ajedrez como
actividad lúdica en infantes y para averiguarlo se realiza la elaboración de una revisión sistemática que
es la búsqueda de varios artículos científicos para seleccionarlos por medio de criterios de inclusión
con el objetivo de extraer los resultados de dichos artículos, los cuales son validados por medio de
cuartiles para tener una idea del nivel de fiabilidad de los artículos en cuestión y de esta manera
obtener datos comprobados de manera científica y responder a la siguiente pregunta: ¿Qué efectos
cognitivos y académicos tiene jugar ajedrez de forma regular en los niños?
Algunos de los resultados obtenidos indican que hay beneficios a nivel académico y cognitivo
al jugar ajedrez en niños y niñas, otros no mostraron diferencias entre los grupos de control y
experimentales indicando que factores como el tiempo de exposición al juego pueden explicar dichos
resultados.
