Resumen
El proceso tan complejo que es el estado de gravidez de una mujer,
comprende muchas alteraciones, psicosociales, personales, hormonas, estado fisico, en
otros. Dichas alteraciones mencionadas anteriormente son fuente de duda y mucha de las
veces, estas mujeres caen en el desconocimiento del por que estan pasando por todos
esos cambios fisiologicos. Objetivo: Determinar los factores de riesgo de gingivitis en el
embarazo. Metodología: Usando netamente la metodología de investigación bibliográfico
descriptiva. Para la recolección de información se usó muchas revistas científicas y
artículos como, Scielo, Google académico, lo cual presentan el 70 % artículos de no más
de 5 años de antigüedad. Resultados: Los factores de riesgo de gingivitis en mujeres
embarazadas se produce por la alteración hormonal, dieta altamente cariogenica.
microorganismos periodontopatogenos, acumulacion de placa dental. Conclusiones:
Llevando acabo un analisis exhaustivo de todos los factores de riesgo podemos
determinar que una mala higiene bucal combinado con las alteraciones hormonales son
fuentes principales de la produccion de dicha inflamacion.
The complex process that is the state of pregnancy of a woman, includes many alterations, psychosocial, personal, hormones, physical state, in others. These alterations mentioned above are a source of doubt and many times, these women fall into ignorance of why they are going through all these physiological changes. Objective: To determine the risk factors for gingivitis in pregnancy. Methodology: Purely using the descriptive bibliographic research methodology. For the collection of information, many scientific journals and articles were used, such as Scielo, academic Google, which present 70% articles of no more than 5 years old. Results: The risk factors for gingivitis in pregnant women are caused by hormonal changes, highly cariogenic diet. periodontopathogenic microorganisms, accumulation of dental plaque. Conclusions: Carrying out an exhaustive analysis of all the risk factors, we can determine that poor oral hygiene combined with hormonal alterations are the main sources of the production of said inflammation. Recommendations: Remember that prevention is the first method of choice, in addition to the fact that regular visits to the dentist are essential so that there is a correct orientation for the pregnant woman to prevent even future problems for her newborn
