Resumen
Un bot, agente conversacional, asistente virtual o chatbot es un programa que permite al usuario mantener una conversación “inteligente” mediante lenguaje natural, hablado o escrito, a través de un canal de comunicación que puede ser una aplicación o página web. Considerando esto la presente investigación propuso el “desarrollo de un prototipo de Chatbot interactivo utilizando plataformas Open Source de Inteligencia Artificial (IA) para brindar información turística de la ciudad de Guayaquil”; esto surge de la iniciativa de incentivar el desarrollo del turismo a través de nuevos canales interactivos de información para turistas permitiéndoles acceso a datos actualizados y concretos. El objetivo principal fue utilizar plataformas gratuitas de acceso de libre que implementen la Inteligencia Artificial, el aprendizaje automático y técnicas de procesamiento del lenguaje natural para desarrollar un prototipo de chatbot que pueda simular una conversación humana siendo capaz de interpretar los mensajes del usuario para responder lo requerido. La metodología usada fue Scrum; además después de investigar los conceptos, las bases teóricas, las plataformas y demás tecnologías que permiten la creación de un asistente tipo chatbot, para la implementación se utilizó la plataforma de IA de Google DialogFlow que permite la integración y despliegue de un agente conversacional en diferentes aplicaciones. Como resultado final se obtuvo un prototipo de chatbot funcional, operativo y entrenado capaz de sugerir y brindar información turística de la ciudad de Guayaquil a través de la aplicación de mensajería instantánea Telegram.

The main objective was to use free open access platforms that implement Artificial Intelligence, machine learning and natural language processing techniques to develop a chatbot prototype that can simulate a human conversation, being able to interpret the user's messages to answer what they want. required. The methodology used was Scrum; In addition, after investigating the concepts, the theoretical bases, the platforms and other technologies that allow the creation of a chatbot-type assistant, the Google DialogFlow AI platform was used for the implementation, which allows the integration and deployment of a conversational agent in different Applications. As a final result, a functional, operational and trained chatbot prototype was obtained, capable of suggesting and providing tourist information about the city of Guayaquil through the Telegram instant messaging application.
