Beneficios de la certificación de cacao arriba en la asociación de producción agrícola de cacao Tenguel (ASOPROTEN) de la UNOCACE

Resumen
El objetivo general del presente trabajo es analizar qué es más beneficioso para un productor de cacao fino de aroma, mejor conocido como “cacao arriba” sí producir cacao con certificación o sin certificación, estudio que se realizó a agricultores que pertenecen a la unión de organizaciones campesinas cacaoteras ( UNOCACE). Para el desarrollo del trabajo fue necesario cumplir con los objetivos para conocer a cabalidad que le resulta más beneficioso a un productor de cacao arriba, contar con una certificación que avale que su cacao es producido con la mejor calidad, o sin certificación donde se trabaja bajo distintos parámetros de calidad, se conoció los precios que manejan ambas fincas y los canales de comercialización, también se analizó cuál de las dos fincas genera más utilidad, a través de costos de mantenimiento por hectáreas se analizó a su vez lo que les cuesta producir cada quintal a éstas fincas, donde se concluyó que ambas fincas generan utilidades, aunque a la finca con certificación genera más que la de sin certificación, evidentemente la certificada a trabajar sin intermediarios manejando precios fijos por quintales, obtiene mejores beneficios económicos en comparación con la finca sin certificación.
The general objective of the present work is to analyze what is more beneficial for a producer of fine aroma cocoa, better known as "cocoa up" to produce cocoa with certification or without certification, a study that was carried out with farmers who belong to the union of organizations cocoa farmers (UNOCACE). For the development of the work it was necessary to meet the objectives to fully know what is most beneficial to a cocoa producer above, to have a certification that guarantees that their cocoa is produced with the best quality, or without certification where they work under different quality parameters, the prices that both farms manage and the marketing channels were known, it was also analyzed which of the two farms generates more utility, through maintenance costs per hectare, it was also analyzed what it costs them to produce each quintal to these farms, where it was concluded that both farms generate profits, although the farm with certification generates more than the one without certification, obviously the one certified to work without intermediaries managing fixed prices per quintal, obtains better economic benefits compared to the farm without certification.
