Factores que condicionan la presencia de embarazos en mujeres menores 17 años de edad

Resumen
El embarazo adolescente es el que se produce durante los dos primeros años de la edad ginecológica y/o cuando la adolescente mantiene total dependencia social y económica de sus padres o tutor. Se considera embarazo de alto riesgo por las repercusiones en la salud tanto de la madre como del niño; además de las secuelas psicológicas y sociales que deben ser tratadas con un psicólogo y servicio social. De las 194 gestantes investigadas, el mayor porcentaje de predominancia fue 69,59% (135) perteneciente al grupo etario entre los 15 – 16 años. El 59,28% (115) son de procedencia urbana. el 38,66% (75) tuvieron prácticas sexuales sin anticonceptivos; 23,20% (45) fueron influenciadas por su pareja sexual; 21,13% (41) consumen sustancias; 9,28% (18) tienen falta de orientación sexual y 7,73% (15) se relacionan con agresiones sexuales. el 28,35% (55), refirió haber tenido dos controles prenatales. Además, el 27,84% (54) presentaron infecciones de vías urinarias; 23,19% (45) preeclampsia; 21,65% (42) anemia; 13,40% (26) restricción de crecimiento intrauterino; 9,79% (19) desproporción cefalopélvica y 4,12% (8) aborto.

Adolescent pregnancy is that which occurs during the first two years of gynecological age and/or when the adolescent maintains total social and economic dependence on her parents or guardian. It is considered a highrisk pregnancy due to the repercussions on the health of both the mother and the child; in addition to the psychological and social consequences that must be treated with a psychologist and social service. Of the 194 pregnant women investigated, the highest percentage of predominance was 69.59% (135) belonging to the age group between 15-16 years. 59.28% (115) are of urban origin. 38.66% (75) had sexual practices without contraceptives; 23.20% (45) were influenced by their sexual partner; 21.13% (41) use substances; 9.28% (18) have a lack of sexual orientation and 7.73% (15) are related to sexual assault. 28.35% (55) reported having had two prenatal check-ups. In addition, 27.84% (54) presented urinary tract infections; 23.19% (45) preeclampsia; 21.65% (42) anemia; 13.40% (26) intrauterine growth restriction; 9.79% (19) cephalopelvic disproportion and 4.12% (8) abortion.
