Resumen
El presente trabajo se realizó con la finalidad de analizar el servicio de transporte de
carga terrestre en la ciudad de Guayaquil con respecto a los tiempos de entrega y
proponer una mejora, es decir, disminuir los tiempos de entrega al cliente final. Para
realizar esta investigación se utilizó el método cualitativo el cual se lo empleó mediante
la observación directa en algunas empresas que prestan el servicio y entrevistas a varios
expertos relacionados con el tema de estudio, quienes proporcionaron la información
suficiente y necesaria, esta información recopilada permitió el respectivo estudio el
mismo que dejó a la vista cuales son las diferentes dificultades que causan el retraso en
el servicio, como resultado del mismo se considera que para mejorar el servicio en
cuanto a entregas tardías las empresas deben contar con un flujo de procesos y este debe
ser dado a conocer y ser cumplido por todos sus colaboradores
