Resumen
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo principal la implementación del sistema contable PERSEO para mejorar la gestión financiera en el negocio Punto de venta “SAMIA” ubicada en la cooperativa los Vergeles. Para ello se trabajó con una metodología de carácter cualitativo, se consideró como unidad de investigación al negocio de samia ubicado al norte de la ciudad de Guayaquil, en la cual se aplicó la técnica de la entrevista de manera formal y directa al gerente de este, en donde se determinó la importación de contar con la plataforma Perseo que le permita manejar de forma rápida y segura las áreas de compra, venta e inventario. Se concluyó que los sistemas contables se deben adquirir en todas las empresas y negocios sin importar su tamaño porque brindan información útil a sus clientes que les permite optimizar la gestión contable y al mismo tiempo contribuir con el cumplimiento de los objetivos.

It was concluded that accounting systems should be acquired in all companies and businesses regardless of their size because they provide useful information to their clients that allows them to optimize accounting management and at the same time contribute to the fulfillment of short or long-term objectives
