In this degree work, a portable prototype of pictographic communication focused on children with different abilities that cause speech and communication disorders was implemented, whose objective is to facilitate the child's communication and improve the interaction with his environment. For the development of the work, the user-centered methodology, field research, interviews, and surveys were applied to collect data. The prototype consists of an Arduino nano microcontroller and the options that the child has to communicate are through push buttons, RFID cards, and a mobile application via Bluetooth communication, audio playback is done through an MP3 module that stores them on a microSD card. Based on the results obtained in the satisfaction survey, it was determined that the prototype satisfactorily fulfills its purpose, concluding that the prototype is viable to support and stimulate communication in differently abled children.
