Resumen
La presente tesis tiene como objetivo general realizar un estudio de factibilidad para la
migración de una red de fibra óptica FTTH con tecnología GPON que permita reconocer
infraestructura, diseño y costo de la red, además va a mejorar la calidad del servicio de
internet el sector de Ciudad Victoria 1.Se estudiará el funcionamiento de las redes FTTH
con tecnología GPON, con el fin de entender su estructura y funcionamiento, así como sus
beneficios y desventajas y se analizarán los sistemas de telecomunicación actuales ubicados
en el sector de Ciudad Victoria 1, con el objetivo de identificar los problemas existentes y
determinar en qué medida la red propuesta podría solucionarlos y en tercer lugar, se
determinara si es factible la implementación de la red FTTH en la zona de Ciudad Victoria
1, evaluando aspectos técnicos, financieros. Permitiendo así determinar la factibilidad de
migrar a una red de FTTH GPON.
The general objective of this thesis is to conduct a feasibility study for the migration of an FTTH fiber optic network with GPON technology that will allow to recognize infrastructure, design, and cost of the network, and will also improve the quality of internet service in the sector of Ciudad Victoria 1. The operation of FTTH networks with GPON technology will be studied, in order to understand its structure and operation, as well as its benefits and disadvantages and the current telecommunication systems located in the sector of Ciudad Victoria 1 will be analyzed, in order to identify the existing problems and determine to what extent the proposed network could solve them and thirdly, it will be determined whether it is feasible to implement the FTTH network in the area of Ciudad Victoria 1, evaluating technical and financial aspects. This will allow to determine the feasibility of migrating to a FTTH GPON network.
