Resumen
Este proyecto de investigación consiste en el análisis de la importancia y los efectos que tiene la estimulación multisensorial en el desarrollo lingüístico de niños de 2 a 4 años con discapacidad visual. Cuando mencionamos el termino discapacidad visual, nos referimos a una condición adquirida o congénita, donde su afectación es exclusiva a la visión. Algunos niños con este tipo de discapacidad presentan alteraciones en el lenguaje, debido a que no existen suficientes estímulos que compensen la carencia visual. Es por esta razón que se trabajó actividades multisensoriales para mejorar el lenguaje, con niños que asisten al Centro Municipal de apoyo para personas con discapacidad visual “Cuatro de Enero”. Con el enfoque de este estudio, se busca contribuir al diseño de una guía de actividades multisensoriales dirigida a padres con una terminología de fácil comprensión y entendimiento, que les permita replicar las actividades en casa y así ayudar a un mejor desarrollo de sus capacidades.

When we mention the term visual impairment, we refer to an acquired or congenital condition, where its affectation is exclusive to vision. Some children with this type of disability present alterations in language, due to the fact that there are not enough stimuli to compensate for the visual deficiency. For this reason, multisensory activities were developed to improve language skills with children who attend the "Cuatro de Enero" Municipal Support Center for the Visually Impaired. With the focus of this study, we seek to contribute to the design of a guide of multisensory activities aimed at parents with a terminology that is easy to understand and comprehend, allowing them to replicate the activities at home and thus help them to better develop their abilities.
