VIH y su incidencia en embarazos de pacientes adolescentes del Hospital Martin Icaza en el período 2018 - 2021

Resumen
El microorganismo de la inmunodeficiencia humana ataca el sistema inmunitario en las primeras etapas de la expansión de la enfermedad. Este trabajo investigativo consistió en que a las pacientes que acudieron a urgencias en el “Hospital Martín Icaza” de la ciudad de Babahoyo Provincia Los Ríos en el período comprendido de Enero del año 2018 al mes de Diciembre del año 2021 sin conocimiento previo de la patología, se les realizó una valoración obstétrica y ginecológica, y con la ayuda de pruebas complementarias, se determinó si hubo reactividad, una vez establecida la patología se alentó a las pacientes a continuar el tratamiento durante y después del embarazo. El Objetivo de este estudio es identificar las gestantes adolescentes con VIH, la metodología de la investigación fue cuantitativa, no experimental, observacional con modelo descriptivo, analítico. Se concluyó que si existe un porcentaje llamativo del 7% con esta patología que guarda relación con otros estudios realizados en otros países de Sur América, que por sus elevados costos sociales y de salud, deberían implementarse programas innovadores y actualizados de educación sexual desde la niñez. The human immunodeficiency organism attacks the immune system in the early stages of disease spread. This investigative work consisted of the patients who attended the emergency room at the "Martín Icaza Hospital" in the city of Babahoyo, Los Ríos Province, in the period from January 2018 to December 2021 without prior knowledge of the pathology , an obstetric and gynecological assessment was performed, and with the help of complementary tests, it was determined if there was reactivity, once the pathology was established, the patients were encouraged to continue treatment during and after pregnancy. The objective of this study is to identify pregnant adolescents with HIV, the research methodology was quantitative, non-experimental, observational with a descriptive, analytical model. It was concluded that if there is a striking percentage of 7% with this pathology that is related to other studies carried out in other South American countries, that due to their high social and health costs, innovative and updated sexual education programs should be implemented from childhood. .
