Resumen
El objetivo principal de esta investigación es analizar los asentamientos humanos irregulares en el cantón Guayaquil durante el decenio 2011 a 2021.
Durante el estudio se utilizó el método cuantitativo, con el cual se permite recabar información desde la fuente directa del sujeto de estudio, se empleó la encuesta dirigida a 384 personas según la muestra establecida (hombres y mujeres) para conocer el crecimiento de los asentamientos humanos irregulares y obtener la información necesaria que sustente el trabajo de investigación.
Los resultados muestran que hay sectores en donde se vive de forma adecuada con las necesidades básicas, sistema de salud y vivienda propia, sin embargo, existen sectores que no cuentan con dichos beneficios. Podemos concluir que el desconocimiento que radica en las personas y el hecho de querer adquirir una casa propia los lleva a comprar terrenos ilegales, asentándose en sectores no regularizados que en ocasiones no están aptos para vivir.
The main objective of this research is to analyze irregular human settlements in the Guayaquil canton during the decade 2011 to 2021. During the study, the quantitative method was used, with which it is possible to collect information from the direct source of the study subject, the survey aimed at 384 people according to the established sample (men and women) was used to know the growth of irregular human settlements and obtain the necessary information to support the research work. The results show that there are sectors where people live adequately with basic needs, health system and own housing, however, there are sectors that do not have these benefits. We can conclude that the ignorance that lies in people and the fact of wanting to acquire their own house leads them to buy illegal land, settling in non-regularized sectors that are sometimes not suitable for living.
