Resumen
Este proyecto busca mejorar la estadía de los usuarios del centro geriátrico “Sofia
Ratinoff de Solimano” ubicado en la ciudad de Guayaquil en la provincia del Guayas,
debido al diseño inadecuado y mobiliarios en estado de deterioro y no aptos para los
adultos mayores, los mismos que se ven afectados en sus actividades cotidianas y su
estadía en el mismo.
Además de la mala adecuación y disposición de los elementos en el interior del centro,
el mismo no cuenta con mobiliarios ergonómicos que ayuden en su estadía cotidiana.
Se proyecta diseñar en base a criterios de diseño utilizando la iluminación y el color
como directrices en el interior del centro, y en los mobiliarios se consideran las
texturas, materialización y funcionalidad para conseguir un espacio seguro y óptimo y
mobiliarios ergonómicos, estos que conserve las normativas de diseño en cuanto a las
necesidades básicas de los adultos mayores y poder ofrecerles una estadía placentera
que influya de manera progresiva, y positiva en su salud mental, física y psicomotriz.
This Project seeks to improve the stay of users of the “Sofia Ratinoff de Solimano” geriatric center located in the city of Guayaquil in the province of Guayas, due to inadequate design and furniture in a state of deterioration and not suitable for older adults, these factors they influence users since they are affected in their daily activities and their stay in it. In addition to the poor adaptation and disposition of the elements inside the center, it does not have the amount of ergonomic furniture to help in their daily stay. It is projected to design based on design criteria using lighting and color as guidelines inside the center, and in the furniture textures, materialization and functionality are considered to achieve a safe and optimal space and ergonomic furniture, these that preserve the design regulations regarding the basic needs of the elderly and to be able to offer them a pleasant stay that progressively influences, and positively in their mental, physical and psychological health and psychomotor.
