This clinical case will present the adhesive systems that have evolved time in their handling for application on dental tissues, as well as the number of steps to follow to achieve less sensitivity. In addition, the collagen network of the hybrid layer is protected against collapse, and the subsequent bonding procedures of the restorations result in higher values in bond strength, improving marginal sealing, reducing sensitivity after cementation, and improving adaptation to the cavity. It is essential to know the protocol of the immediate dentin sealing technique in indirect restorations, a technique based on the use of an adhesive system consecutively after tooth preparation, benefits of this technique are the increase of the post-cementation bond strength minimizing marginal leakage, and increasing retention and as a result we obtain a significant reduction of postoperative sensitivity after cementation.
