The purpose of this research proposal was to analyze the importance of the kind of smile for the design of metal porcelain crowns and porcelain. Vouchers note that dental and gingival esthetics has become an important aspect in the current year of dentistry. Dentistry today is to integrate functional and aesthetic aspects of the various problems of patients and with these issues, to promote health. In the aesthetic realm the evaluation of each case and parameter will be different as well as the solution to various problems. There is no conventional ideal but must evaluate each case and build according to the different variables of diagnosis, the best solution. In this study we evaluated a sample of 50 patients with different types of smile design for porcelain crowns and porcelain metal, the results provide the analysis, identification and relation to parameters such as space interincisal, incisal edge position, location of the relationship of proximal contact, proximal connection space, axis tilt teeth, bucal corridor, smile line, midline, coronary size and proportion, which can determine the size and proportion of the tooth crown, is determined 19%: Space interincisal in 18% and proximal connection spacious 14%. Instead incisal edge position and bucal11% corridor, the location of the proximal contact ratio of 8%, the tooth axis inclination, and smile line 7% 5% midline shift, meaning that no patient study complies with the design parameters for a given fixed dental crown
