Resumen
El objetivo principal de este trabajo de investigación es realizar un estudio
sobre COUCHSURFING una página web que en su traducción al español
significa surfeando sofás, y cuya finalidad radica en poner en contacto a
personas de todo el mundo que buscan y ofrecen alojamiento a viajeros
que comparten una cultura distinta a la propia. Se analizará la página web
en general, tomando en cuenta su funcionamiento, difusión, perfil de
usuarios, misión y la finalidad de su creación; así como también el
proceso comunicacional que implica el relacionarse con personas de
culturas diferentes a la nuestra.
Desde su creación, esta página web ha experimentado una profunda
evolución, tanto física como ideológica. Razón por la cual esta
investigación se enfocará en el proceso de conexión entre las personas
que la utilizan como herramienta de comunicación que genere un
intercambio cultural productivo durante la experiencia. Se han obtenido
datos de la encuesta realizada por el autor a diferentes miembros que
integran este sistema alrededor el mundo.
The main objective of this research is to conduct a study on COUCHSURFING a website that translated to Spanish means surfing sofas, and whose purpose lies in bringing together people from around the world who seek and provide accommodation travelers who share a culture other than their own. The website in general will be analyzed, taking into account their performance, broadcasting, User Profile, mission and purpose of creation. As well as the communication process that involves contact with people from around the world. Since its inception, this website has experienced a profound change, both physical and ideological. Why this research will focus on the process of connection between people who use it and the option to use it as a tool for cultural exchange. Data have been obtained from the survey conducted by the author to different members that make up this system around the world.
