Resumen
En los últimos años, la playa de Canoa ha ganado cierta popularidad como
destino para deportes acuáticos. Lo que aún se desconoce es que la parroquia
San Andrés de Canoa posee una ubicación geográfica privilegiada dentro de la
provincia de Manabí, que cuenta con otros varios atractivos turísticos naturales
y culturales, y que en realidad es un sitio para mucho más que surf y velerismo.
Este estudio investigativo, cuyo objetivo es la creación de una operadora
turística en la parroquia, tiene presente que Canoa cuenta con todos los
elementos necesarios para atraer un turismo altamente rentable y beneficioso
para una comunidad que tiene pocas fuentes laborales estables y un nivel bajo
de educación. En el primer capítulo se da a conocer el objetivo, la
problemática, y la justificación del estudio.
El segundo capítulo, el marco teórico, entra al mundo del turismo comunitario y
a la realidad actual de esta parroquia, y muestra al lector los aspectos más
relevantes a tener en cuenta cuando se realiza un proyecto de esta índole. Los
capítulos tres y cuatro dan a conocer sobre las investigaciones que se
efectuaron y los resultados de las mismas.
El quinto capítulo demuestra la factibilidad de la creación de esta operadora
turística y trae a la luz los aspectos técnicos y jurídicos de su implementación.
Finalmente, al cierre se encuentran las conclusiones y recomendaciones que
deben ser tomadas en cuenta al momento de ejecutar el proyecto.
In recent years, Canoa Beach has gained some popularity as a destination for water sports. What remains a well-kept secret is that the parish of San Andrés de Canoa has a privileged geographic location within the province of Manabi, that it has several other natural and cultural attractions, and that it is actually a place for much more than surf and sailing. This research study, which has as its objective the creation of a community tourism operator in said parish, is privy to the fact that San Andres de Canoa possesses all the elements needed to attract a highly profitable and beneficial tourism, particularly for a community that has few stable industrial sources and a low level of education. The first chapter, which disclosed the purpose, stated the problem and delivered the justification of the study, explains this in detail. The second chapter, the theoretical framework, enters the world of community tourism and the current reality of this beautiful parish, and shows the reader the most relevant aspects to consider when a project of this nature is carried out. The third and fourth chapters introduce the research that took place and indicate the results of said research. The fifth chapter demonstrates the feasibility of the creation of this tourism operating facility and brings to light the technical and legal aspects of its implementation. The last few pages display the conclusions and recommendations that should be borne in mind when bringing this project to life.
