Resumen
La presente investigación surge por la problemática social en que se encuentran los
habitantes del Cantón Durán, provocada por la deficiente infraestructura de salud pública
en los circuitos de mayor número de habitantes.
Dichos circuitos solo cuentan con Sub Centro de Salud de atención de Primer nivel y un
Centro de Salud tipo C, deficientes en equipos especializados y espacios para una atención
óptima, ocasionando así no poder cubrir la demanda de atención para partos quirúrgicos lo
cual obliga los pacientes a migrar a otros cantones.
La propuesta de diseño se realizará en base a Red de Salud de Segundo Nivel
(MINISTERIO DE SALUD PUBLICA, 2012), dará servicio de atención a pacientes en la
etapa de gestación, parto, post parto y atención pediátrica del neonato; por medio de las
diferentes unidades de atención:
-Consulta externa, Laboratorio, Cirugía y Parto, Cuidados Intensivos, Hospitalización,
Emergencia.
Con el uso de los equipos médicos adecuados, profesionales especializados e instalaciones
especiales, en conjunto con la correcta infraestructura, el establecimiento de salud cumplirá
con las normativas y especialidades para la correcta y pronta atención de mujeres gestantes
y neonatos.
Debido a su ubicación estratégica, a orillas de la Vía Durán-Yaguachi, y rodeado de los
circuitos del Cantón con mayor número de habitantes se logrará cubrir con la demanda de
pacientes no solo del Cantón Durán sino también de los cantones aledaños
This research arises from the social problems that are the inhabitants of Canton Duran, caused by poor public health infrastructure in the circuits of most inhabitants. Such circuits have only Sub Health Center first level and type C Health Center, deficient in specialized equipment and optimal care spaces, thus causing unable to meet the demand of care for surgical deliveries forcing patients to migrate to other cantons. The proposed design will be based at Health Network Second Level (Ministry of Public Health, 2012), will service patients in the stage of pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and pediatric care of the newborn; through different care units: -External -Consultation, Laboratory, Surgery and Childbirth, Intensive Care, Hospital, Emergency. With the use of appropriate medical equipment, specialized professionals and special facilities, in conjunction with the right infrastructure, the health facility shall comply with the regulations and specialties for the proper and prompt care of pregnant women and infants. Due to its strategic location, on the Via Duran-Yaguachi, and surrounded by the Canton circuits with the highest number of inhabitants it will be achieved with the demand to cover not only the patient but also Canton Duran from neighboring cantons
