Resumen
La Cultura Política, es una práctica que ejercemos todos los ciudadanos de una
nación donde existe la democracia. En los últimos años ha crecido el interés por
el ejercicio de la política, muchos son interesados por ser actores políticos y
representar un papel importante en el Estado. Sin embargo, no todos estos actores
buscan el bien común, sino más bien el bien personal o de un gremio determinado.
El movimiento de Unidad Plurinacional Pachakutik, surge de un grupo de
ciudadanos indígenas en busca de exigencias igualitarias como ciudadanos
ecuatorianos, una lucha que ha venido desde años atrás y que en la actualidad se
han unido otros grupos culturales, con el mismo fin, luchar por una equidad de
oportunidades, tanto en educación, trabajo y trato justo. Como movimiento
mantienen valores ancestrales que forman parte de su cultura y sus propias
políticas.
Es así como la siguiente investigación, busca esclarecer la Cultura Política de
Pachakutik en la ciudad de Guayaquil, desde el trabajo seminal de la Cultura
Cívica (1963) de Gabriel Almond y Sidney Verba la misma que mediante un
estudio analítico de la información recolectada a través de la utilización de las
técnicas tales como la entrevista y grupos focales. Entender los lineamientos del movimiento, amerita un entendimiento de su Cultura Política, sus valores, la forma de participación en el movimiento y en la
sociedad. The Political Culture, is a practice that all citizens of a nation where
democracy exists. In recent years, interest in the exercise of politics has grown,
many are interested in being political actors and playing an important role in the
State. However, not all of these actors seek the common good, but rather the
personal good or of a particular guild.
The Pachakutik Plurinational Unity movement, arises from a group of
indigenous citizens in search of egalitarian demands as Ecuadorian citizens, a
struggle that has come from years ago and that other cultural groups have joined
together, with the same goal, to fight for an equal opportunity, both in education,
work and fair treatment. As a movement they maintain ancestral values that are
part of their culture and their own policies.
This is how the following research seeks to clarify the Pachakutik Political
Culture in the city of Guayaquil, from the seminal work of the Civic Culture
(1963) by Gabriel Almond and Sidney Verba the same as through an analytical
study of the information collected through of the use of techniques such as the
interview and focus groups. Understanding the movement's guidelines merits an understanding of its
Political Culture, its values, the way of participation in the movement and in
society.
